What to Expect for Homework

   Fourth and fifth graders are expected to have math, spelling, and have a parent sign their planner for  homework every Monday through Thursday.  They will read a minimum of 30 minutes every night.  Some nights homework might also include special assignments like projects, writing, science and social studies.

Math Goal
To be on target your child needs at least  60 Accelerated Math objectives for the trimester. (80 for fifth grade)

Reading Goal

Your child needs at least 3 Accelerated Reading points each week to stay on track for the trimester goal of 40 points.   If your child does not have 28 points this week, they will be given the opportunity to read at recess and lunch.

This week your child needs 40 AR points this week to be on target.
